Eggl, Cruz Wedding

Ashley Ann Eggl and Ulises Armando Cruz were married Friday, October 2, 2009 at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenville.  The Reverend Jay Scott Newman officiated.  A reception followed at the Wyche Pavilion.
 The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Stephen Eggl, Sr. of Greenville.  She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd C. Vickery, Jr. of Barnwell, South Carolina, Mrs. Janet Marie Eggl and the late Mr. Fredrick William Eggl of Cando, North Dakota.  She earned a Bachelors of Arts degree in early childhood education from the University of South Carolina – Upstate and a Masters degree in learning disabilities from Furman University.  She currently teaches kindergarten at Summit Drive Elementary.
 The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Manuel Salvador Menocal of Greer and Mr. and Mrs. Ramon Armando Cruz of Tegucigalpa, Honduras.  He is the grandson of Ms. Elida Argenal, Ms. Valentina Sauceda, Mr. Ramon Ulises Cruz, and the late Lorenzo David from Tegucigalpa, Honduras.  He is pursuing a Bachelors degree in business administration from the University of South Carolina – Upstate.  He currently works at Manage Recovery Systems.
 Rebecca Tripp Ellefson, friend of the bride, was maid of honor.  Bridesmaids were Laura Brazil Sharp, friend of the bride, Maria de Fatima Cruz, sister of the groom, Anna Melisa Chiasson, cousin of the groom, and Ileana Graciela Bermudez, friend of the groom.  The flower girl was Taylor Nicole Burger, friend of the bride.
 Joseph Thomas Soriano, friend of the groom, was best man.  Groomsmen were Alejandro Ernesto Cruz and Manuel Antonio Menocal, brothers of the groom, Mark Stephen Eggl, Jr., brother of the bride, and Seth Michael Glenn, friend of the groom.  The ring bearer was Payton Jinhyun Lee, friend of the groom.  Trent David Witthoeft, cousin of the bride, read scripture.
After a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple will live in Greenville.
