Union Branch Church, 465 Tinker Creek Road/Hwy. 781, has a new pastor, Rev. Wade Scott. Every fourth Sunday they have Sunday school at 10 a.m. and service at 11 a.m.

Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, 5032 Fellowship Road, Williston, will have their annual youth revival Tuesday, May 10 through Thursday, May 12 at 7 p.m. nightly. Guest revivalists will be Elder Bobby Dukes on May 10, Rev. Anthony Mansfield on May 11 and Rev. Curtis Belton on May 12.

Allen Street Church of God, 1017 Allen Street, Barnwell, will hold a fish dinner fundraiser on Saturday, May 14 beginning at 10 a.m. Dinners are $6:50 and sandwiches are $3.50. Menu includes whiting or tilapia, cole slaw, French fries, hush puppies, bread and drink. Orders of four or more can be delivered within city limits of Barnwell. Orders can be called in at (803) 259-3810. Proceeds will support the youth’s attendance to the state youth convention.

The Men’s Ministry of Second Baptist Church Barnwell will have a car wash and hot dog plate sale, Saturday, May 14, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the church. Prices are $8 for cars and $10 for trucks, vans and SUVs. Hot dog combo plates will be $4. For more information, please call 259-1385.

Culbert Branch Missionary Baptist Church in Williston will have worship in the town’s park on Sunday, May 15 beginning with Sunday school at 8:30 a.m. and worship at 10 a.m. After worship they will eat and play games.

Macedonia Baptist Church, 3572 Dexter St., Blackville, will have Women’s Day on Sunday, May 15 at 11 a.m. The speaker will be Minister Tracy Golden from Savannah Creek Baptist Church. On Saturday, May 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. they will have a workshop for girls 8-12 and 13-18.

Silver Spring Missionary Baptist Church, 347 Woodrow Doby Road, Williston, will have its 69th Usher Board Anniversary program on Sunday, May 15 at 10 a.m. starting with Sunday school.

Williston United Methodist Church will hold a retirement reception for Pastor Cindy Fuller on Sunday, May 15 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the church, located at 6030 Springfield Road, Williston. RSVP to willistonumc@tds.net.

Springfield Baptist Church of Barnwell will celebrate its 89th ushers anniversary on Sunday, May 15 at 3 p.m.

Second Baptist Church of Barnwell’s health ministry will have a pink out day on Saturday, May 21 at the Gail Reyes Senior Center in Barnwell from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Everyone is asked to wear pink and receive educational materials, and meet cancer survivors and their caregivers.
