Gloster, Pou wed
Eunice Yvonne Gloster of Columbia and Darryl Pou of Columbia were united in marriage on November 12, 2016 at the Orangeburg Country Club in Orangeburg. The Rev. John Holston officiated. The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Larry Gloster Sr.
The bride’s dress was a strapless gown featuring a sweetheart neckline with a beaded sash at the waist and a chapel length train. The bride carried a bouquet of white calla lilies adorned with pearls.
Joy Gloster, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were: Amanda Gloster (sister-in-law of the bride), Brenda Bush (best friend of bride), Marquita Woodard (friend of bride), La’Toya Harris (soror of bride), Eboni Pou (sister of the groom), LaKisha Pou (cousin of the groom), Nyriel Charley (cousin of the groom), Saibriyya Pou (daughter of the groom) and Tracy Pou (sister of the groom). Kel’Unique served as flower girl.
Maurice Jenkins and Lavares Jefferson were best men. Groomsmen were: Darryl Pou Jr. (son of the groom), Kyan Dukes (son of the bride), Terrence Smith (friend of the groom), Brian Porterfield (friend of the groom), Jaymar Simmons (friend of the groom), Ishia Toland (friend of the groom), Reginald Nelson (friend of the groom) and Fred Dones (friend of the groom).
Following the wedding a reception was held at the Orangeburg Country Club.
The bride is the daughter of Larry and Velina Gloster of Blackville. She is a 2006 graduate of the College of Charleston and a 2008 graduate of Walden University. She is employed by Richland One School District.
The groom is the son of Theresa Pou of North. He is a 1993 graduate of North High School and is employed by KW Beverages of Columbia.
Following a wedding trip to Bimini, Bahamas, the couple will reside in Columbia.
