Frederick, Byars wed
Lauren Elisabeth Frederick of Williston and Jason Edward Byars of Aiken were united in marriage on September 10, 2017 at the home of the groom’s aunt and uncle, Rev. and Mrs. Keith Ussery. The Rev. Keith Ussery officiated.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. P.W. Frederick Jr.
The bride’s dress was lovely and flowing softly of pure white chiffon, gathered with an empire waistline. The floor-length gown swept into a cathedral train.
The bride carried a bouquet of pink and burgundy roses, baby breath, and pink peonies. The pink roses were beautiful as they adorned her hair.
Following the wedding a reception was held at the home of the groom’s uncle and aunt.
The bride is the daughter of Bill and Renee Frederick of Williston. She is the granddaughter of Jean and Phil Frederick of Williston, and Elsie and Ches Lyons of Lake City.
She is a 2014 graduate of the University of South Carolina Aiken with a BSRN degree in nursing. She is employed by Augusta University Medical Center in Augusta, Ga.
The groom is the son of Mrs. and Mrs. John Byars of Windsor. He is the grandson of the late Leslie and Sara Ussery of Williston, and John and Inez Byars of Windsor.
He is a 2004 graduate of Aiken High School and is employed as co-owner of Byars Plumbing in Aiken.
Following a wedding trip to Disney World in Orlando, Fla., the couple resides in Aiken.
