Kaigler, Lightsey to wed
Mr. and Mrs. Scott Edward Kaigler of Blackville are proud to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Morgan Elizabeth, to Matthew Wayne Lightsey of Blackville.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Oscar H. Owens of Blackville and Mr. and Mrs. Bobby L. Kaigler of Swansea.
Morgan is a 2012 graduate of Jefferson Davis Academy and 2014 graduate of the University of South Carolina-Salkehatchie with an Associate in Science and an Associate in Arts. Morgan is employed with the Town of Blackville as the Utility Clerk.
The groom-elect is the son of Mrs. Allison Millard of Lexington, the late Mr. Bobby “Puff” Lightsey of Bluffton and Mr. Tony Brant of Ulmer. The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Helen Johnson and the late Mr. Donald W. Johnson of Grantsville, West Virginia, the late Mr. and Mrs. Roy H. Lightsey of Fairfax, and Mrs. Polly Brant and the late Mr. Anthony H. Brant of Ulmer.
Matt is a 2009 graduate of Williston-Elko High School and attended the University of South Carolina-Salkehatchie. Matt is employed with Energy Solutions of Snelling and is the head baseball coach and assistant football coach of Jefferson Davis Academy.
The wedding is planned for 6 p.m., June 9, 2018, at Blackville First Baptist Church. Formal invitations will be sent.
