Beulah United Apostolic Church in Williston will have an "Ole Fashion Service" on Dec. 13 at 7:30 p.m. Elder Kelly Wright will be the guest speaker. Minister Robin Wright is the minister of music.
Rosemary Baptist Church (Emerald Lane, Barnwell) will host A Christmas Musical Saturday, Dec. 14, at 5 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
Williston United Methodist Church (6030 Springfield Rd., Williston) will hold their 4th annual Nativity Festival Saturday, Dec. 14 and Sunday, Dec. 15 from 1 to 5 p.m. each day. Enjoy a walking tour of over 100 unique nativity scenes throughout the church, showing the true meaning of the holy season. The event is free, though donations are appreciated. Christmas crafts and baked goods will be available for purchase. Proceeds help the church's mission projects.
The adult choir of Calvary Baptist Church (8744 Marlboro Ave., Barnwell) will present their Christmas Cantata, "Bethlehem Morning," on Sunday, Dec. 15, at 11 a.m. Special Christmas Service with food following that evening at 7 p.m. "The Nativity Story" movie being shown on Sunday, Dec. 22. Movie starts at 5:15 p.m. and is free of cost. All are welcome to come as you are and encouraged to invite someone. Barnwell First Baptist Church will present The Living Nativity on Sunday, Dec. 15, and Thursday, Dec. 19. First showing starts at 6 p.m. each night with the second one beginning around 6:30 p.m. The drama centers around the birth of Jesus and includes live singing.
Mt. Sinai Baptist Church (Martin) will have its 54th Choir anniversary Dec. 15 at 4 p.m.
New Hope Methodist Church, Seigling, will host the Burroughs-Gilyard Outreach Ministry's "Feed the Needy for the Holidays" Dec. 14 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Greater Faith Ministries will have a "Fellowship Dinner" Dec. 18 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 179 Calhoun Street.
Beulah Baptist Church (Baldock) will be hosting Christmas Candlelight Service 2013 on Dec. 21 beginning at 6 p.m. There will be a special performance by the Youth Department, as well as a Christmas gift exchange during the service. Angel Wings Food Bank will have a "Christmas Breakfast Giveaway" Dec. 21 from 9 a.m. until noon. Anyone in need of food is welcome.
St. James Anglican Church will be having a Candlelight Service on Christmas Eve with a Festival of Lessons and Carols and Holy Communion. The service will begin at 10 p.m.
The Greater Sweet Branch Baptist Church Women's Ministry and Program/Planning Committee will be traveling to Orlando, Fla., on March 21 - March 23, 2014, to visit the Holy Land. The total cost per person is $300. This price includes hotel, and transportation/admission to the Holy Land.
