Williston Presbyterian Church will hold its second annual Lenten Evening Music and Prayer services, titled "Journeying Together to the Cross," Wednesday, Feb. 13. The Journey continues with "The Middle of the Road" Wednesday, February 27. And Wednesday, March 13, it will be "Approaching the End" of the lent. All of these music and prayer services are at 6:30 p.m.

Knights of Columbus Council 9161 will hold their annual Fish Fry Friday, Feb. 22, from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at St. Andrew Church Hall.

Angel Wings Food Bank will have a "Food Giveaway" Saturday, Feb. 23, from 9 a.m. until noon. Anyone in the community and surrounding area in need of food is welcome to come.

Lower Counties Ministers Coalition will hold its February Praise and Worship service with Frost Branch Baptist Church (Elko) Sunday, Feb. 24, at 6 p.m. Speaker will be Rev. Joe. F. Singleton.

New Home Missionary Baptist Church will celebrate its choir's 75th anniversary Sunday, Feb. 24, at 3 p.m.

Mt. Hope Baptist Church will hold its Annual Black History Program Sunday, Feb. 24, at 4 p.m.

New Life House of Love Church (1119 Oswald St. in Allendale) is proud to announce the ordination services for their own Minister Paul L. Brown. Minister Brown will be ordained to become an Elder Sunday, Feb. 24, at 11 a.m. at New Life House of Love Church.

The Augusta Jewish Community Center (898 Weinberger Way, Evans, Ga.) will have a Purim Carnival Sunday, Feb. 24, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. There be a lunch from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Lunch is $5 for guests and free for members. Game tickets are four for $1 and 22 for $5; plus two free tickets for those in costume.

St. John Baptist Church (1660 St. John Road, Boiling Springs Community, Barnwell) will hold the third Pastor's Appreciation Program for Rev. Audrey Lofton Sunday, Feb. 24, at 4:00 p.m. Rev. W.C. Yon of Bamberg will be speaker. Dinner will be served immediately after the service.

Young Rosemary Missionary Baptist Church (Williston) will hold its 14th Pastor anniversary for Pastor Phinice Young Sunday, March. 3, at 3 p.m. Speaker will be Pastor James Duke of Olive Branch Baptist Church.

Sweetwater Missionary Baptist Church will hold a shoe-size rally program Sunday, March 3, at 10 a.m. during Sunday school.

Born Again Church will have a Heaven and Hell service Saturday, March 9, at 5 p.m.

Bamberg Church of God (420 Calhoun St., Bamberg) will hold a district Revival Monday, March 4, thru Friday, March 8, at 7:30 p.m. each night. There will be a guest speaker each night. All offerings will go toward debt relief for the church.
