Participants are being sought for a six-week series of workshops called Better Choices, Better Health, which will be held every Tuesday between March 5 and April 9 at 10 a.m. at the Blackville Community Center. Members of churches and organizations are especially being targeted. The program was developed by Stanford University to help people manage chronic health conditions, such as arthritis and heart disease. Church of the Holy Apostles will have Easter Services as follows: March 24, 10:30 a.m. (Palm Sunday Processional) meet at Darnell Park; Thursday, March 28, 6:45 p.m. (Maundy Thursday Service); Friday, March 29, noon (Good Friday service) and 6 p.m. (Stations of the Cross); Sunday, March 31, 10:30 a.m. (Easter Celebration) and noon (Egg hunt)

St. Peter's Baptist Church will have a youth revival March 27 and 28 with service at 7 p.m. each night.

Word of Life Full Gospel Ministries will host its Holy Ghost Restoration Conference March 27 thru 29 at 7:30 p.m. each night.

Rosemary Baptist Church will have Good Friday Service March 29 at noon. Guest speaker is Rev. Donald Green of Andrew Chapel Baptist Church in Orangeburg.

The Community Stations of the Cross will begin Friday, March 29, at 6 p.m. at the Church of the Holy Apostles.

Hillcrest Baptist Church (Williston) will have an Easter egg hunt Saturday, March 30, at 11 a.m. There will be a lunch, games and prizes.

New Life House of Love Church (Allendale) will have its Easter in the Park even March 30 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Morris Holmes Park (next to the Church)

Hillcrest Baptist Church (Williston) will hold Easter service Sunday, March 31, beginning at 8 a.m. with a Resurrection Celebration.

Progressive Church of God (Denmark) will have will have an outreach service for National Women Auxiliary Day Sunday, March 31, at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Williston First Baptist Church will have its Easter service Sunday, March 31, beginning with Sunrise service at 8:30 a.m., Sunday school at 9:45 and morning worship is at 11 a.m.

Ned Branch Baptist Church will have an Easter Sunrise Service at 6:15 a.m. Breakfast will be served.

Rosemary Baptist Church will have Easter service Sunday, March 31, at 7:30 a.m.

The Fairmount Baptist Church will hold its spring Revival April 1 thru 3 at 7 p.m. each night. The Rev. John Young will be the guest speaker.

Born Again Church will have its Easter Service March 31 at 11 a.m. Guest speaker is Elder Allen Sutton of Fayetteville, N.C.
Silver Spring Missionary Baptist Church, (Williston) will have the F. L. Bush Choir Anniversary Sunday, April 7, at 3 p.m. The sign-in method will be used. Reverend Freddie L. Bush is pastor.

Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church (4830 Jones Bridge Road, Blackville) will its One Day Spring Revival Sunday, April 7, beginning at 2 p.m. James E. Holiday of Pond Baptist Church will be the speaker.

Capernaum Missionary Baptist Church Women's Missionary Society will celebrate its 9th 100 Women in Purple and White Anniversary April 7 at 2 p.m. at the Capernaum Missionary Baptist Church in Denmark.

Mount Hope Baptist Church will host the Gospel Singing Stars' fifth group anniversary April 6 at 4 p.m.

Sunshine Baptist Church will have the Ordination of Deacon Service for Brother Willie Leonard Baxter Sunday, April 7, at 11 a.m.

Young Rosemary Church will have its Missionary program, April 7, at 10 a.m. Guest speaker is Rev. Heyward Dock from Augusta, Ga.

Mt. Sinai Baptist Church (Martin) will have its 85th Ushers' Anniversary April 7 at 10 a.m.

Ned Branch Baptist Church will have a Praise Night Service April 2 at 7 p.m. Guest speaker is Elder Jerry W. Simmons of Bible Way Church in Saluda.

First Baptist Church (Allendale) will have Hog Heaven Sunday, April 7, at 11 a.m. Bring your bike and come out to enjoy food and worship. Meet at the Hardee's parking lot at 10:35 a.m. for an escorted ride to the church.

Sunshine Baptist Church will hold its spring Revival April 8 thru 10 at 7 p.m. each night. Guest speakers are Rev. Carlton Howard, Rev. Delbert Singleton and Rev. Curtis Belton.

St. Mary Baptist Church will hold its spring revival Tuesday, April 9, thru Thursday, April 11, at 7 p.m. each night.

Rosemary Baptist Church will have its spring Revival Tuesday, April 16, thru Thursday, April 18, at 7 p.m. each night. Tuesday night's speaker will be Rev. Anthony Moore. Wednesday night will be Rev. Bennie Everett III. Thursday's will be Rev. Warren Butterfield.

The Lower Counties Minister Coalition Spouses Auxiliary will have its annual workshop April 13 at 10 a.m. at Rome Baptist Church in Denmark. Speakers will be Jennifer Banks, president, Sister Rubean Bush and Pastor Rev. Sanka Davis.

St. John Missionary Baptist Church (1660 St. John Road, Barnwell) will celebrate 141 years in bringing souls to Christ Sunday, April 14, at 3 p.m. Rev. W.H. Burison, pastor of Thankful Baptist Church in Martin and Irvington Baptist Church of Allendale, will be the speaker for the evening.

Born Again Church will hold its annual Women in White service April 14 at 3 p.m. Guest speaker will be Evangelist Victoria White.

Runs Missionary Baptist Church (Beech Island) will hold its spring revival April 15 thru 17 at 7 p.m. nightly. Pastor Daniel Latimer, of St. March Baptist Church in Allendale and The Kings church of Augusta, will be our guest minister.

Runs Missionary Baptist Church (Beech Island) will hold its 142nd Church Anniversary Sunday, May 5, at 8 a.m. Rev. Reginald Sharpe, of Lithonia, Ga., a Student Chaplain with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes - Inner-City Atlanta Ministry, which serves the Morehouse and Clark Atlanta football teams, and chapel assistant at the MLK International Chapel, is the guest minister.
