Williston Presbyterian Church will hold its second annual Lenten Evening Music and Prayer services, titled "Journeying Together to the Cross," Wednesday, Feb. 13. The Journey continues with "The Middle of the Road" Wednesday, February 27. And Wednesday, March 13, it will be "Approaching the End" of the lent. All of these music and prayer services are at 6:30 p.m.

Participants are being sought for a six-week series of workshops called Better Choices, Better Health, which will be held every Tuesday between March 5 and April 9 at 10 a.m. at the Blackville Community Center. Members of churches and organizations are especially being targeted. The program was developed by Stanford University to help people manage chronic health conditions, such as arthritis and heart disease. Born Again Church will have a Heaven and Hell service Saturday, March 9, at 5 p.m.

Augusta Jewish Community Center (898 Weinberger Way, Evans, Ga.) will hold its annual Empty Bowl fundraiser to fight hunger Sunday, March 10, from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults at the door, $15 in advance. Second Baptist Church (Barnwell) will have its youth revival Tuesday, March 12, thru Thursday, March 14, at 7:30 p.m. each night. Elder Bobby Dukes will be the revivalist Tuesday night. Rev. Bruce Bias will speak Wednesday night, Rev. Allen Keitt will speak Thursday night.

The Culinary Arts Department of Greater Faith Ministries (179 Calhoun St., Barnwell) will have a Fellowship Dinner Wednesday, March 13, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome to join for a free meal and fellowship.

Silver Spring Missionary Baptist Church (Williston) will have its 24th Pastoral Anniversary for Rev. Freddie L. Bush and First Lady Mary Bush on Sunday, March 17, at 4 pm. Rev. J. B. Moody, pastor of Union Baptist Church in Williston and Doe Baptist Church in Martin, is the guest speaker.
