What can we do?

It seems as if the times that we are living in these days are very challenging. Countless things from our local communities extending world-wide give us concerns and for a moment cause us to wonder if there is any hope. But, for the Christian believer, our hope is grounded in Jesus Christ.

Church Events - September 17, 2014

Faith Chapel Church at 80 Campbell St., Blackville, will have BBQ Lunch on September 26. Each lunch is $5 for sandwich, chips and dessert. For large orders, the church will deliver. Please call 803-671-9470 for details.

Mt. Hope Baptist Church in Martin will have their Prince Hall Day celebration on September 21 at 4 p.m. The guest speaker will be Rev. Wendell Johnson.

Mt. Joy Holiness Church will have Back to Church Sunday 2014 on September 21 at 11 a.m.

Farmers Markets
Barnwell: The Fuller Park Farmers Market is open to local artisans and crafters this year and we encourage those in the area to participate in the market. They are accepting vendor applications for the 2014 season. September market is on Tuesdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
