Lisa Gatlin-Price of Barnwell and John F. Massey Jr. of Hampton are proud to announcement the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Attie Elizabeth Massey (Betsy) to Vincent John Malon. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Vincente Dominguez Malon of Beckley, W. Va.
The bride elect is the granddaughter of D. E. Gatlin and the late Edwin Gatlin of Fairfax and John F. Massey and the late Elizabeth Smith Massey of Allendale.
The bride elect is a 1999 graduate of Barnwell High School, 2004 graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism management and graduated 2008 from South Piedmont Community College with an Associate Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. She currently resides in Charlotte, N.C., and is employed by Presbyterian Hospital.
The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Teodoro Sulay of San Francisco, Calif., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Juan Malon of the Philippines. He is a 1996 graduate from Woodrow Wilson High School of Beckley, W. Va., and a 2002 graduate from Mountain State University with a Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. He currently resides in Charlotte, N.C., and is employed by CMC Mercy Hospital.
The wedding is planned for May 19, 2012, at St. Marks Catholic Church in Huntersville, N.C.
