Yon, Smith

Krissie Renee Yon of Aiken and Thomas Eric Smith of Blackville were united in marriage on June 26, 2010 at the Williston First Baptist Church. Dr. David Richarson officiated.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
The bride’s dress was a Faille side-draped A-line gown with lace appliqués and sweet-heart neckline in white.
The bride carried a bouquet of white Gerber daises and green hydrangeas.
Stephanie Yon Hensley served as matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Carrie Zissette, cousin of the bride, Jessica Wilson, Jackie Hall, Jennifer Dandridge, Jennifer Mole, Jennifer Gantt and Nicole Clamp.
Kamryn Gantt served as flower girl.
Kade Hensley served as ring bearer.
Tommy Smith was best man.
Groomsmen were Heath Gantt, cousin of the groom, Noel Hilton, Josh Lott, Ritchie Ward, Josh Corbett, Jake Corbett, David Page, Adam Rossman, Kevin McCormick, Jason Hensley, Tommy Goodson and Mike Weaver.
Junior groomsman was Bryce Gantt.
Honorary groomsman was Allen Ford.
Following the wedding, a reception was held at Barnwell State Park.
The bride is the daughter of Bobby and Bonnie Yon of Williston. She is the granddaughter of Buck and Ann Daniel of Williston and Doris Yon and the late Herbert Yon of Williston. She is a 2000 graduate of Williston-Elko High School and a 2004 graduate of USC-Aiken. She is employed with Carolina Musculoskeletal Institute as a registered nurse.
The groom is the son of Tommy and Helen Smith of Blackville. He is the grandson of Genell Smith and the late Frank Smith of Blackville and the late George and Kittie Martin of Blackville. He is a 1999 graduate of Jefferson-Davis Academy. He is employed with Wackenhut Services, Inc. as a special response team instructor.
Following a wedding trip to the Florida Keys, the couple will reside in Healing Springs.
