Home away from home

John 17:14 (NKJV) - "I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world."
In 1992, I left my home in Puerto Rico following the calling of the Lord to come to America. In 1995, South Carolina became my home away from home, and I love this state and the people as well.
But I have another home, and I know that one day I will be there; it is called heaven. Jesus spoke about a place for us. Jesus said in John 14:2 (NKJV) - "In My Father's house are many mansions; if [it were] not [so], I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you."
When I think about these things, my mind goes to another verse in the Bible: 2 Corinthians 5:1 (NKJV), which says, "For we know that if our earthly house, [this] tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens." That means that I haven't made it home yet and when that day comes, heaven will be my home away from home.
Now, friends, my question to you is, where is your home?
