Barnwell Primary students go country

Lights, camera, action! This week the third grade classes studied plays as a form of writing and literature. While studying how to read and write a play, the students also performed a play for their parents and fellow classmates. Each third grade class performed the play “Two Pigs, a Wolf, and a Mud Pie” complete with costumes, props and a set.
Barnwell Primary also celebrated their “Box Top” party at C. Boy Farms this past week. Students who collected 100 box tops or more were invited to put on their cowboy attire and join their classmates at C. Boy Farms for a day of farm fun and celebration. The students got to take part in many different activities such as traveling through the corn and hay mazes, playing on the inflatable slide, making crafts and going for a hay ride.  Barnwell Primary actively collects Box Tops throughout the year to help raise money for school supplies and furnishings.
Barnwell Primary will be hosting an SES Provider Fair on Monday, Nov. 22, at 6:00 p.m. The cafeteria will be filled with a variety of different programs all designed to help our students achieve more academically. Feel free to stop by to learn more.
