Mole takes the legislative floor

Blackville-Hilda High student Antwan Mole was one of 70 students from across the state to attend the 6th Annual Youth Legislative Black Caucus Conference Sept. 24.
"As a student I have never been in an environment where everyone had the same mindset as I have," said Mole. "Even though we all met each other, exchanged information and created new friendships, it was competition at its best."
Mole said he was surprised with the chance to speak in front of everyone, but "thankfully I was prepared for anything."
He thanks Superintendent Dr. Teresa Pope and BHHS Principal David Norman for selecting him to represent Blackville-Hilda Public Schools and the community. He is also grateful to his parents, Adolph and Cynthia Mole, who chaperoned him and have been supportive.
