Principal gets pie in face to raise funds

Barnwell Elementary School's Fall Carnival was held October 25, an annual fundraiser that seems to be growing each year.
The usual carnival activities such as the bean bag toss, face painting, sack races and ring toss were enjoyed by the students. BES has some signature activities also that the students always look forward to such as "Pie in the Principal's Face", Cake Walk and the M.A.S. H. unit (students are bandaged to look as if they are wounded-complete with "blood").
Some new activities this year included: a small petting zoo and a chance to throw a Frisbee for a dog to retrieve. BES appreciates the parents and children that participated in this event.
