BHHS students display future leadership skills

The Future Business Leaders of America students of Blackville-Hilda High School attended the S.C. FBLA State Leadership Conference in Charleston at the Embassy Suites Convention Center April 12 -14.
Six students attended the conference to compete in areas such as Introduction to Technology Concepts and Business Presentations. These students were advanced from the FBLA District Leadership Conference they attended in February. The students also had the opportunity to attend workshops about social networking and using iPads.
During the conference there are always Build-A-Bears donated to the Shriners Hospital in Greenville. We donated a puppy this year with a Star Trek outfit. They also experienced some activities while in Charleston.
To end this year we will have seven seniors leaving the organization and five of them have been active since the 9th grade. I will definitely miss their enthusiasm and competitiveness to win.
