FFA summer camp offers fun, team building

Eight members of the Barnwell County Career Center FFA Chapter recently attended the SC FFA Camp at Cherry Grove.
The group participated in a week of paintball, kayaking, athletics, team building with low and high ropes courses, a cardboard boat building contest, a beach trip with Ag Olympics, and nightlife activities which included a sunset dolphin cruise, Legends In Concert, and unlimited go-cart riding.
FFA Chapter President Coltin Nobles was named "Camper of the Week" for his positive attitude, leadership and desire to participate in every activity possible throughout the week.
In all, 127 campers from FFA chapters all over South Carolina attended during this one week out of the four weeks offered over the summer for FFA members.
Other members attending were Rachel Watkins, Ellie Ashba, Makayla Watkins, Ashley Reynolds, Kayla Carroll, Sarah Baker, and Angelica Crane. Their advisor and agriculture instructor, Mrs. Mindy Sandifer, also attended the camp with the members.
