The Blackville-Hilda High School Beta Club held a blood drive Jan. 11, 2012 in the high school auditorium.
They collected 43 pints of blood with the assistance of the Red Cross, exceeding their goal of 35 pints. Mrs. Gaines and the Beta Club members would like to thank Dr. Teresa Pope, District 19 superintendent, faculty, staff, students and community members for their blood donation.
