Guinyard-Butler Middle School Principal Senaca Baines along with Sherry Cooler, guidance counselor, presented dictionaries to 12 students at the Jan. 26 District 45 board meeting for being Junior Scholars.
“We are very proud of this group of students. They are all extremely intelligent and talented students who work hard to maintain a healthy balance of their academics and extracurricular activities. So I am not surprised they have earned the title of Junior Scholar to add to their list of accomplishments. I believe this is just beginning of successful experiences for them as they transition from middle school to high school and beyond,” said Cooler.
