The Williston-Elko Band students are hard at work and performing throughout the state.
Summer Mead and Budd Wagnon have been chosen to participate in the USC Band Clinic. This is a four-day band clinic at the School of Music at USC Columbia. This year’s clinic will be held Thursday, Feb. 16 through Sunday, Feb. 19.
Students attending will audition upon arrival for a seat in one of the clinic bands. Throughout the weekend they will attend rehearsals with a guest clinician, attend other concerts given by various high school and collegiate ensembles, and attend master classes on their instrument. On Sunday, the final day of the clinic, the students will perform in a concert with their clinic band.
