NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ON ZONING MAP AMENDMENT
The Council of the Town of Williston, South Carolina, will hold a public hearing at 7:30 p.m. on June 14, 2010, at the Williston Town Hall, located at 13112 Main Street, on the following proposed amendment to the Williston Zoning Map:
Map Amendment
#1 This amendment would change the zoning district designation for property owned by Outdoor Rental LLC between Augustine Street and Buice Circle in Williston.  This property is identified as tax map number 031-03-02-029.  The property consists of lots 48-A and 48-B.  If the amendment is approved the zoning district designation of the property would change from Single Family Residential (R-12) to Single and Two Family Residential (R-7).  The primary difference between the R-7 zoning district designation and the R-12 zoning district designation is that duplexes and manufactured homes are allowed in the R-7 zoning district, while the R-12 zoning district prohibits duplexes and manufactured homes. Documents related to the proposed amendment are available for public inspection in the office of the Zoning Administrator at the Williston Town Hall, 13112 Main Street, Williston, S.C.  Please direct questions to Mr. Scott Neely at 266-7015.
