Murder suspect's girlfriend sought for accessory

Deputies searching for Teresa K. Luna

  • Teresa K. Luna is wanted for Accessory to Murder (After the Fact). She is the girlfriend of Ricky Williams, who is wanted for the July 23 murder of George Lee Grimes on Fairway Lane.
  • Ricky Lamont Williams is wanted for murder in the July 23 shooting death of George Lee Grimes.

Warrants have been issued for the girlfriend of a murder suspect.

The Barnwell County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) has issued a warrant for accessory after the fact to murder for 24-year-old Teresa K. Luna, also known as T.K. According to the sheriff’s office, Luna is dating Ricky Lamont Williams, 39, who is wanted for the July 23 murder of Hilda resident George Lee Grimes, 31, that occurred on Fairway Lane in Barnwell.

“The investigation shows that Luna has assisted Williams in avoiding arrest even though she is aware of outstanding warrants,” stated a press release from the BCSO issued August 11. Luna is also wanted on a probation violation out of Columbia.

Luna’s last known address was in Windsor where she lived with Williams, but she is known to frequent Barnwell County, according to officials. However, investigators believe Luna is in the company of Williams, who has evaded capture since being named a suspect in the crime.

Luna is described as a white female who is approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds and has brown hair, although she recently cut it shorter than what is shown in the photo. Williams is a 6-foot-3-inch tall black male who weighs 190 pounds. Williams has brown hair and brown eyes, according to descriptions provided by the BCSO.

“Williams is believed to be armed and dangerous,” according to the release.

According to an incident report, the murder was in retaliation for Grimes giving Williams fake money in exchange for heroin the day before the shooting.

Two other people, James Anderson Langford and Summer Marie Padgett, are charged with accessory before the fact to a felony.

Anyone who comes in contact with either subject is asked to contact the BCSO at (803) 541-1052.
