Collectors young and old are encouraged to share their gatherings with the community during the “Collectors Day” Saturday at the Barnwell County Museum.
“Right now we have around nine collectors scheduled and there will probably be more,” said Marie Peeples, manager of the museum.
“We’ll have collections of Santa Clauses, handkerchiefs, angels, bottles, records and more,” she said.
The Collectors Day will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. at the museum located at 9426 Marlboro Ave., Barnwell.
Anyone with a collection they want to exhibit may call the museum at (803) 259-1916.
“It’s free,” said Peeples. “There’s no charge to exhibit or visit.”
“We also want more children to participate,” she said.
