Susan Delk named Managing Editor

Susan Delk, 40, of Barnwell, has been named managing editor of The People-Sentinel announced Publisher Laura McKenzie.
“Susan has lived and worked in the Barnwell County community for years,” said McKenzie. “She has a passion for this community and that passion is reflected in her reporting.”
“I truly love what I do. I am honored to have been chosen as the new Managing Editor for The People-Sentinel and I look forward to the challenges that lay ahead.”
Delk has worked for The People-Sentinel since October 2007 as a staff writer. She has previously written for The Times & Democrat in Orangeburg.
Delk is a Barnwell County native and attended local schools.
Susan is marred to Buddy and they have two daughters, Felicia and Katelyn Delk. She is the daughter of Jack and Hazel Cook of Snelling.
