Mr. and Mrs. Terry Lee Blassingame - Wedding
Markela Shaney Corbett of Clemson, and Terry Lee Blassingame of Clemson were united in marriage on July 27, 2013, at Greenville First Assembly of God. Minister Brandon Greene officiated.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Henry Freeman.
The bride's dress was a Mori Lee Original. This lustrous satin gown featured a drop waist bodice. The bodice was fully adorned with pearls and swarvoski crystals and heavily embroidered. The flounced skirt draped around to a chapel length train. The corset back finishes off this amazing gown. The bride carried a bouquet of Calla Lillies.
Doctor Aliesha Cleveland served as matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were, Ms. Regina King (friend of the bride and maid of honor), Ms. Jessica Jenkins, (friend of the bride), Mrs. Kamilah W. Staggers (Cousin of the bride), Ms. Kheri Corbin, Ms. Lauren Hughes, Ms. Dallas Fletcher, Mrs. Kimberely R Gaines, Friends of the bride.
Miss Madi!on G Freeman, and Miss Nikkita McMullen served as flower girl.
Master Jervon Groves and Master Joseph Parker served as ring bearer.
Mr. Reggie Blassingame was best man.
Groomsmen were, Mr. Lamar Dawn, Mr. Courtney Jackson, Mr. Rico Ramsey, Mr. Benjamin Allgood, Mr. Terrell Skelton, Mr. Kenny Goodine, Mr. Tico Manley, (Friends of the Groom), Mr. Christopher White, Mr. Balenta McMullen, (Ushers and friends of the groom).
Following the wedding a reception was held at The Hyatt Regency.
The bride is the daughter of Henry and Lynn Freeman of Williston. She is a 2010 graduate of Clemson University.
The groom is the son of Ms. Shirley Washington and Mr. Tafford Blassingame of Seneca. He is a graduate of Fort Hayes State University and is Owner of King's Weight Loss/Personal Trainer.
Following a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, the couple will reside in Clemson.
Markela is the granddaughter of the Late John "JC" Corbett and Mrs. Mae Etta Corbett of Williston and the goddaughter of Mr. Tyrone Mosley of Williston.
