Robert S. "Bobby" Morris, 80, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013, at the Lexington Medical Center.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Sept, 3, at Friendship Baptist Church with burial following in the church cemetery. Visitation was held Sept. 2 at Mole Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m.
Bobby was born in Barnwell County on April 18, 1933. He was a son of the late Elisha William Daniel and Lottie Hair Morris. He retired as owner of Capital City Music Co. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include a son, Chris (Tammy) Morris of Leesville; daughters, Deborah Kay Morris(Garold) Coffman of Batesburg, Melissa Morris and Sharon Morris of Olar; brother, Jack Morris of Barnwell; sister, Patricia (Duist) Croft of Barnwell; 12 grandchildren, Jennifer Carey Morris, Diedra Michelle Coffman, Kimberlee Bell Coffman, Elizebeth Kay Coffman, Jessika Hope Sparks, Amber Lynn Morris, Heather Marie Morris, Christine Summer Morris, Robert Daniel Lee Atkins, Cory Allen Caudill and Ethan Keith Batchler; 17 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a grandson Ryan Scott Caudill and a great grandchild; brothers, John Joseph Morris, McCoy Morris and Daniel Lafayette Morris; sisters, Vera Mae Morris, Zelma Cato, Helen Inabinet, Florence Stanley Rhodes Manton.
