David Rodger Lee Sr., 56, of Barnwell passed away on Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013. He was born in Chateauroux, France. He was the son of the late James Lee Sr.
He was employed with Energy Solutions for 35-plus years. He was an avid motorcycle rider with the "Carolina Voyager Association". He was a member of Seven Pines Baptist Church. He was a loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time making memories with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his mother, Anna Calder Lee; two sons, David (Margie) R. Lee of Lexington and James (Jessica) Thomas Lee of Barnwell; one daughter, Deanna Lee (Joshua) Thacker of West Columbia; grandchildren Annabelle Elizabeth Lee, James Thomas Lee Jr. and a future grandchild of Deanna Lee and Joshua Thacker; five brothers, James Lee of Lake City, Gerald Lee of Florence, Kelly Lee of Florence, Donald Lee of Florence and Ronald Lee of Scranton.
Mr. Lee and his wife, Honor, went to be with the Lord together.
A service will be held Wednesday, Sept. 18, at 11 a.m. in the Dyches Funeral Chapel, officiated by Billy Mew with visitation one hour prior to service. Burial will be a private family burial in Lake City Memorial Park Cemetery.
