Come on by - we’d love to visit with you!

Moving can be a pretty arduous task. There's getting rid of all that stuff you hoarded for years, boxing up your "necessaries", loading it up, moving it and then unpacking.
Of course, we did this in the midst of the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, so it seemed to us to be even crazier!
We are finally settling into our new "digs" at 10481 Dunbarton Boulevard and are loving them!
Newspaper offices are traditionally a place where people bring the stories of their lives to share with the community - weddings, engagements, honors, memorials and tidbits for news stories.
Newspapers have been "social media" long before the internet was even concieved.
And we continue as the best source of news, information and advertising in Barnwell County. Our "delivery systems" include print, web and social media - but the love of sharing news with our community remains as strong as ever.
This week, we want to be even more "social".
On Thursday we are holding a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 3 p.m. and afterwards having a drop-in at our offices until 6 p.m. so our readers, advertisers, friends and neighbors can know where we are.
Come on by. We'd love to visit with you and show you our new offices. Like any move, we are still arranging and re-arranging and probably will be decorating slowly over the coming months.
But we wanted to start the year with a celebration. You're invited.
