Mrs. Aleese Ayer Windham, 84, of North Augusta, entered into rest Wednesday, March 19, 2014, surrounded by her children.
Funeral services will be held at noon, March 26, at St. Johns Baptist Church in Ehrhardt. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends after the service in the church social hall.
Mrs. Windham was a native of Barnwell County. Having made North Augusta her home for the past 46 years she was a faithful and active member of Belridge Baptist Church. She was the wife of the late Lyles Ayer and the late Phillip Windham.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Estelle Still; and sister and brother in law, Willette and Ben Folk.
Survivors include daughter, Cheri (Dick) Edberg of Waynesville, N.C., and Jan Ayer of North Augusta; son, Dennis (Pam) Ayer of Beech Island.
Mole Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
