Harold Bell

Funeral services for Harold Lloyd Bell, 82, of Williston, will be held at at 3 p.m., March 26, at the Williston First Baptist Church with Reverend Will Browning and Dr. Steve Burnette officiating. Burial will be in the Williston Cemetery with Chaplain David Dice officiating and military honors accorded. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. Pallbearers will be his grandsons, as well as nephew, Audie Cooper of Orangeburg, Wayne Browning of Barnwell and Mark Vaughn of Augusta Ga.
Harold passed away Saturday, March 22, 2014, at his home.

Born Oct. 26, 1931, in Columbia, he was the son of the late Coy M. Bell and Effie Murphy Bell. Harold worked for E.I. DuPont at the Savannah River Plant for 36 years before retiring in 1989. He was a member of the Williston First Baptist Church, the Bethel Sunday School Class and the American Legion, Williston Post #75. He was a U.S. Marine Veteran. Harold loved nothing more than spending time with his entire family and grilling his family-famous barbeque chicken.
Survivors include his wife, Corean Cooper Bell of the home; three daughters, Debbie (Keith) Hall of Williston, Rebecca (John) Lash of Knoxville, Tenn., Cheryl Monroe of Williston; grandchildren, Jason Durant (Whitney Lassitter) of Aiken, Lauren (David) Dice of Savannah, Ga., Jennifer (Jason) Stegner of Camden, Jonathan (Jessica) Hall of Aiken, Joshua (Erica) Neal of Aiken, Kamryn Hall of Columbia and Jessica Bateman of Columbia; three great-grandchildren, Cooper Dice, McKenzie and Emma Neal; brother, Vernon Bell of Aiken; numerous nieces and nephews.
Folk Funeral Home Inc. and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
