An investigation is still underway after four were shot at in Kline more than a week ago.
A suspect has not yet been identified.
"On July 21 officers were dispatched to a residence in Kline who had called stating that she had four victims at her residence that had been shot," stated the Barnwell County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) incident report. "Officers arrived at the residence where the victims said that they were all out at the club Sumthing Different and was leaving when they began getting shot at."
The report said the victims sped off trying to get to the hospital.
The victims made it into Kline when they realized that one of the back tires had been shot out.
"The victims abandoned the vehicle and ran over to the residence where 911 was called," stated the report.
Victims told officers they did not know who the shooter was.
Officers then discovered that a fourth victim left and was last seen going to get help from his aunt's house. Dispatch later informed the officers that the victim was at the Allendale County Hospital. Once officers made contact with the victim, he refused to cooperate with the BCSO.
The driver was shot in the left side of his neck and his arm.
"Victims stated shots came from a blue Chevy Silverado pickup or possibly a silver or gray dark colored truck," stated incident reports. "It was also mentioned that an older model passenger van that was burgundy on top and bottom and was silver or gray in the middle may have something to do with the incident."
The identity and the conditions of the victims have not been released according to the BCSO office due to the case still being active.
