Work needed on streets, buildings in Barnwell

Dear Editor,
We need more work done on our streets in town. Jackson Street is a straight line to our hospital and is in bad condition with pot holes and speeders on this street.
If we want people to move in this city, we have to clean-up our yards. We have a lot of houses falling down around town and buildings falling in, the graveyard on Jackson Street, also around Guinyard-Butler Middle School there are old buildings used for whatever, that need to be torn down.
The city should require owners to clean up or provide the work out and send them a bill. I have lived here 50 years and these things are hurting our growth. No industry will move here because of the appearance of our town.
Sincerely yours,
William Mansfield,
