Christy Lynn Rountree of Barnwell and Timothy “Logan” Adams of Barnwell were united in marriage on October 9, 2016 at Barnwell State Park. The Rev. David Porter (notary) officiated. The bride was given in marriage by her father, Curtis Rountree and son Keegan Zissett.
The bride’s dress was ivory and nude lace with a plunging neckline and edged in layers of tulle ruffles.
The bride carried a bouquet of Gerbera daisies, hydrangeas and baby’s-breath.
Brandy Rountree Bolen served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were: Kendra Rountree (sister of the bride), Myranda Rountree (sister of bride), Kayla Ginn (sister of groom), and Christie Stanfield (friend of bride).
Makintley Bolen served as flower girl and Dierks Bolen served as ring bearer.
Timothy Adams (father of groom) was best man. Groomsmen were: Carol Adams (uncle of groom), Korey Adams (brother of groom), Robby Youmans (friend of groom), and Bubba Benton (friend of groom).
Following the wedding a reception was held at Barnwell State Park.
The bride is the daughter of Curtis and Katrina Rountree of Barnwell. She is the granddaughter of Perry Rountree and the late Bonnie Rountree of Barnwell and Lloyd and Linda Spires of Barnwell.
She is a 2009 graduate of Barnwell High School and is employed by the United States Postal Service.
The groom is the son of Tim and Nita Adams and Bobby and Rita Crocker of Allendale. He is the grandson of James and Ruth Adams of Allendale and Dorothy Anderson and the late Frank Anderson of Saluda.
He is a 2005 graduate of Barnwell High School and is employed by SRNS.
Following a wedding trip to the Bahamas, the couple now resides in Barnwell.
