Healing Springs Baptist Church (17 Springs Court, Blackville) will have homecoming Sunday, Dec. 3 at 11 a.m. Speaker will be Rev. Marshall Still of Great Salkehatchie Baptist Church. Jeremy Roland will provide special music. Dinner will be served after the service.

Family & Friends Day

St. John Baptist Church, Barnwell, will celebrate Family and Friends Day on Sunday, Nov. 26 at 3 p.m. The speaker is Rev. Thomas Hunter, pastor of Greater St. Thomas Apostolic Church, West Columbia.


Silver Spring Missionary Baptist Church (347 Woodrow Doby Road, Williston) will have its 40th senior choir anniversary program on Sunday, Dec. 3 beginning at 10 a.m. with Sunday school.

Men & Women’s Day

Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in Martin will have a Men and Women’s Day program on Dec. 3 at 10 a.m. Master and Mistress of Ceremony will be Deacon Robert and Sister Margaret Miller.

Musical Programs

Bethlehem Baptist Church’s gospel choir program will be Dec. 10 at 2:30 p.m.

The choirs of Barnwell Presbyterian Church and Barnwell United Methodist Church will join together to present a Christmas Cantata: “A Noel Celebration” on Sunday, Dec. 10 at 11 a.m. at BUMC on Main Street. The combined choir is under the direction of, and accompanied by Dave Brandyberry, Music Director of BUMC. Also performing will be Rita Rostron, the new organist of BPC.

The Bunkleys will be at Unity Baptist Church in Blackville on Sunday, Dec. 3. The group will sing during the 11 a.m. service and Rick Bunkley will preach. During the 6 p.m. service, the group will sing Christmas songs.


Healing Springs Baptist Church (17 Springs Court, Blackville) will have revival Monday, Dec. 4 through Wednesday, Dec. 6 at 7 p.m. nightly. Guest speaker will be Rev. John O’Cain of Rocky Grove Baptist Church. Special music by Kristie Hutson on Monday, Calvary Chapel Mennonite Choir on Tuesday, and Eddie Bessinger on Wednesday.
