Shrub Branch Missionary Baptist Church will hold its annual revival Sunday, Aug. 19 at 6 p.m.; Monday, Aug. 20 through Thursday, Aug. 23 at 7 p.m. nightly and Friday, Aug. 24 at 7 p.m. Guest minister on Sunday will be Rev. Daniel Renew of New Testament Baptist Church. Monday through Thursday, Rev. Stevie Berry of Runs Missionary Baptist Church will speak and Rev. Christopher Harley of Jordan Baptist Church will speak Friday.

Second Baptist Church will hold its summer revival beginning Monday, Aug. 20 and ending Thursday, Aug. 23. Events will begin at 7:30 p.m. nightly. The guest revivalist will be Rev. Clarence Hill, Pastor of Mt. Transfiguration Baptist Church in North Augusta.

Runs Missionary Baptist Church (1809 Williston Road, Beech Island) will hold its Women's Conference Friday, Aug. 24 through Sunday, Aug. 26. Rev. Verdene Thomas, pastor of Friendship Baptist Church in Aiken, will speak Friday at 7 p.m. Saturday, a women's session will be held at 9 a.m. Prophetess Faith A. Washington of Orangeburg will speak. Women's Ministry of Greater Faith Ministries (179 Calhoun St., Barnwell) will host its annual Women's Conference Aug. 24 at 7 p.m. and Aug. 25 at 9 a.m. Prophetess Jennifer Williams will lead the discussion. For more information call (803) 259-0405.

Young Rosemary Baptist Church, Williston, will hold a Hallelujah Night on Aug. 26 at 4 p.m. with several groups and choirs, including Chosen One of Columbia, Women of Strength of Columbia, BLESSED of Appling, Ga., The Gospel Originals of Aiken, Soul Survivors of Williston and Young Rosemary Gospel Chorus of Williston. Proceeds benefit the church.

Union United Methodist Church (245 Union Circle, Kline) will hold its annual concert Aug. 26 at 3 p.m. The Anointed Voices will host the event. Guest choirs are being asked to render one selection and make a financial report.

Hutto Chapel Baptist Church (150 Hutto's Chapel Rd. Hwy. 70, Hilda) will host the Praise and Worship Choir as it celebrates its choir anniversary Aug. 26 at 3 p.m. Master of ceremony will be Brother Zeke Banks. The Nigel Fisher and Favor band will perform.

New Home Missionary Baptist Church will have its annual missionary program Sunday, Aug. 26 at 10 a.m. Sister Gwen Rivers will speak.

Frost Branch Missionary Baptist Church (Elko) will hold a Senior Citizen Extravaganza Program Sunday, Aug. 26 at 1:30 p.m. The theme is "How Great Thou Are." For more information contact Hattie S. Stroman at (803) 258-3760

St. Peter Baptist Church will host the A.I.F. Singers 25th Annual Gospel Extravaganza Saturday, Sept. 1. Doors open at 4 p.m., and the program begins at 5. Several groups will be performing including Jerry Mack and The Joy Gospel Singers, and Frances and the Dixon Sisters.

Renewed Faith International Ministries will celebrate their anniversary Tuesday, Sept. 4 through Sunday, Sept. 9. Prophetess Wanda White will speak Tuesday through Friday at 7: 30 each night. A community day will take place Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. -- there will be prayer, an education forum, food, games, vendors and music. The finale will be held Sunday at 5 p.m. with guest speaker Apostle LeMarcus Hudson of Greater Faith of Augusta. All events will be held at 470 Water St. in Allendale.
