Lighthouse Full Gospel Mission will host two preachers from Kenya for three weeks in September. The preachers are Benard Lusweti and Noah Mapesa. Second Baptist Church (Barnwell) will have a Community Family Fun Day Saturday, Sept. 29, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Rev. Phillip Thomas is pastor.

Holighost Headquarters (Sunshine Road, Blackville) will hold a building fund gospel program Saturday, Sept. 29, at 5 p.m. The program is sponsored by the Traveling Stars of Blackville. Blackville First Baptist Church will hold its fall revival Sunday, Sept. 30, thru Wednesday, Sept. 3. Service will be held Sunday at 11 a.m. and at 7 p.m. The evening service will focus on youth. Monday thru Wednesday, service will be at 7 p.m. nightly. Guest speaker is Rev. William Hightower. There will be a performance by Adoration Wednesday night.

Trumpet of God Ministries and Training Center (Albany, Ga.) will hold a "Leading Leaders Changing Church Conference" Oct. 3 thru 5 at the Sheraton Gateway Hotel in Atlanta. Registration for the event is $139 per person. For more information visit or call (229) 432-1877.

The Lower Counties Ministerial Coalition will have its annual budget Saturday, Oct. 6, at 5 p.m. at the Blackville community center. Attendees are asked to make a $15 donation. Rev. Hillcrest Baptist Church will hold its homecoming Oct. 7 at 10:45 a.m. Dinner will follow services.

Winfield Heights Baptist Church (Williston) will hold its 57th Homecoming Sunday, Oct. 7, at 10 a.m. Rev. Bob Cuttino will be the guest speaker. Lunch will follow the service.

Healing Springs will celebrate its 240th year with a revival beginning Sunday, Oct. 7 at 11 a.m. Rev. Frederick will bring the morning message. A night session will follow at 7 p.m with Rev. David Allen bringing the message. Allen will speak Monday, Oct. 8 at 7 p.m., and Rev. Jamie Rodgers will speak Tuesday at 7 p.m. Homecoming will be Sunday, Oct. 14 at 11 a.m. Pastor Rev. New Harvest Outreach Ministries (corner of Lemon Road and Hwy. 278) will hold its annual fall festival Saturday, Oct. 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be crafts, food, games, a silent auction and other events.

Macedonia Baptist Church (3572 Dexter St., Blackville) will celebrate Rev. Floyd Hughes Sr. 32nd Pastor Appreciation Day Friday, Oct. 12 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 14 at 2:30 p.m. Friday's speaker will be Rev. Joe Singleton, pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Williston. Sunday, the Rev. Sanka Davis, pastor of Rome Baptist Church in Demark, will speak.

Choice Assemble Church of God (Williston) will hold a fall revival Oct. 18 and 19 at 7 p.m. each night. Prophetess Dr. Ladrettia Jones of Sardas Ga. will speak on Thursday and Friday. Prophetess Alberta Thompson will speak Sunday, Oct. 21 at 4 p.m. to close the revival.

St. Peter Baptist Church (Hwy 37, Elko) will have a gospel music program Sunday, Oct. 21, at 4 p.m. Performers include: Bishop Staley and Appointed, Denmark Inspirational Choir, Culbert Branch Chorus and Choir, St. Peter Mass Choir and more.
