Blackville First Baptist Church will hold its fall revival Sunday, Sept. 30, thru Wednesday, Oct. 3. Service will be held Sunday at 11 a.m. and at 7 p.m. The evening service will focus on youth. Monday thru Wednesday, service will be at 7 p.m. nightly. Guest speaker is Rev. William Hightower. There will be a performance by Adoration Wednesday night.

Trumpet of God Ministries and Training Center (Albany, Ga.) will hold a "Leading Leaders Changing Church Conference" Oct. 3 thru 5 at the Sheraton Gateway Hotel in Atlanta. Registration for the event is $139 per person. For more information visit or call (229) 432-1877.

Tabernacle Baptist Church (Blackville) will hold a young women's auxiliary training session Saturday, Oct. 6, at 11 a.m. Deidre Odom, a S.C. YWCA coordinator, will facilitate the session.

The Lower Counties Ministerial Coalition will have its annual budget Saturday, Oct. 6, at 5 p.m. at the Blackville community center. Attendees are asked to make a $15 donation. Rev. Silver Spring Missionary Baptist Church (Williston) will hold its annual Seniors Appreciation Day Sunday, Oct. 7, beginning with Sunday school at 10 a.m. and continuing with Worship Services at 11 a.m. Rev. Freddie L. Bush is pastor.

The Episcopal Church of the Holy Apostles will hold a Blessing of the Animals service Sunday, Oct. 7, at 1:30 p.m. in Darnell Park. All pets and their families are invited to attend. For more information, call the church office at 259-3477.

Runs Missionary Baptist Church (717 Williston Road, Beech Island) will hold its annual "United States Rally" Sunday, Oct. 7, at 8 a.m. Rev. Anthony Gadson, pastor of Liberty Christian Fellowship in Waynesboro, Ga., will be the guest speaker. Everyone is asked to wear red, white and blue.

Hillcrest Baptist Church will hold its homecoming Oct. 7 at 10:45 a.m. Dinner will follow services.

Winfield Heights Baptist Church (Williston) will hold its 57th Homecoming Sunday, Oct. 7, at 10 a.m. Rev. Bob Cuttino will be the guest speaker. Lunch will follow the service.

Healing Springs will celebrate its 240th year with a revival beginning Sunday, Oct. 7, at 11 a.m. A night session will follow at 7 p.m. Rev. David Allen will speak Monday, Oct. 8 at 7 p.m., and Rev. Jamie Rodgers will speak Tuesday at 7 p.m. Homecoming will be Sunday, Oct. 14 at 11 a.m. Pastor Rev. Jeffery Ray will speak. Food will be served. Ghents Branch Baptist Church will have its homecoming Sunday, Oct. 7 beginning at 11 a.m. A Barbecue dinner will follow the service.

Greater Faith Ministries (179 Calhoun St, Barnwell) will have a "Feed the Hungry" day Wednesday, Oct. 10 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Free hot meals will be served.

Progressive Church of Our Lord (282 Progressive Way, Denmark) will hold its 60th anniversary Wednesday, Oct. 10, thru Thursday, Oct. 14. There will be nightly services Wednesday thru Saturday at 7:30. A family fun day will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. Sunday services will be at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

New Harvest Outreach Ministries (corner of Lemon Road and Hwy. 278) will hold its annual fall festival Saturday, Oct. 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be crafts, food, games, a silent auction and other events.

Tabernacle Baptist Church (Blackville) will have a family and friends day Saturday, Oct. 13. A yard sale will be held beginning at 7 a.m. There will be activities for kids and adults followed by a night service at 6:30.

Macedonia Baptist Church (3572 Dexter St., Blackville) will celebrate Rev. Floyd Hughes Sr. 32nd Pastor Appreciation Day Friday, Oct. 12 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 14 at 2:30 p.m. Friday's speaker will be Rev. Joe Singleton, pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Williston. Sunday, the Rev. Sanka Davis, pastor of Rome Baptist Church in Demark, will speak.

Faith Ministry Church (Denmark) will have a Family and Friend's Day Sunday, Oct. 14, at 3 p.m.

Pine Hill P.W.B. Pentecostal Faith with have its homecoing Sunday, Oct. 14, at 10 a.m. There will be singing and a speaker, Rev. Norris Powell. Lunch will follow.

New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church will be celebrating its 11th annual Usher's Appreciation Program Sunday, Oct. 14. Sunday school will begin at 9:30 a.m. and worship services immediately after. Guest speaker will be Rev. Milton Gaines of Atlanta, Ga.

Pine Hill P.W.B. Pentecostal Faith will have a revival Oct. 15 thru 17. Rev. Stacey Floyd will be the speaker.

Choice Assemble Church of God (Williston) will hold a fall revival Oct. 18 and 19 at 7 p.m. each night. Prophetess Dr. Ladrettia Jones of Sardas Ga. will speak on Thursday and Friday. Prophetess Alberta Thompson will speak Sunday, Oct. 21 at 4 p.m. to close the revival.

St. Peter Baptist Church (Hwy 37, Elko) will have a gospel music program Sunday, Oct. 21, at 4 p.m. Performers include: Bishop Staley and Appointed, Denmark Inspirational Choir, Culbert Branch Chorus and Choir, St. Peter Mass Choir and more.

Tabernacle Baptist Church (Blackville) will have a men's and women's day service Sunday, Oct. 21. The speaker will be Evangelist Melissa Pressley.
