Koesters,Williams - Wedding

Jessica Leigh Williams of Denmark, and John David Koesters of Columbia, were married at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at Bethel Park United Methodist Church in Denmark. The Rev. Judy Hames and the Rev. Blaine Hudson officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Duncan Williams Sr. of Denmark. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Ralph Bowers Sr. of Hampton, the late Mrs. Anne Benton Bowers of Hampton, and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Duncan Williams of Demark.
The groom's parents are Mrs. Kathy and Mr. Elbert Guy Slice Jr. of Columbia, and Mr. and Mrs. David John Koesters of Kingsport, Tenn. The groom is the grandson of Mrs. Patricia Parker and the late Harry Parker of Lexington, and Mr. and Mrs. George John Koesters of Gainesville, Ga.
The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father. The matrons of honor were her sisters, Kathryn Anne Miller of Mt. Pleasant, and Sarah Elizabeth Gadus of Spartanburg. The best man was the groom's friend, Benjamin Smith Chesson of Charlotte, N.C.  The flower girls were Mary Anne Miller of Mt. Pleasant, Sophia James Gadus and Helen Diane Gadus, both of Spartanburg. The ring bearers were John Taylor Miller III and Noah Benton Miller, both of Mount Pleasant. 
The rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom's parents at the Denmark Country Club Pavilion; the reception was given by the bride's parents at the home of the bride. A bridal luncheon was hosted by family friends of the bride at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C.J. Ray in Denmark.
The bride is a graduate of Jefferson Davis Academy and received her Bachelor of Science in exercise science from the University of South Carolina. She also received a Master of Science in rehab science, occupational therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina. The bride currently works at Gateway Medical Center in Clarksville, Tenn., as an occupational therapist.
The groom is a graduate of White Knoll High School. He received his Bachelor of Arts in economics and political science from the University of Tennessee and a Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law. The groom is a Captain in the United States Army Judge Advocate General Corp and is stationed at Fort Campbell. 
The couple will reside in Clarksville, Tenn., following their honeymoon in Costa Rica.
