Williston United Methodist Church (6030 Springfield Road., Williston) will host its annual Nativity Festival Saturday, Dec. 8, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 9, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Stroll through displays of unique nativity scenes. There will also be Christmas crafts and baked goods for purchase. Admission is free, but donations are greatly appreciated. All proceeds benefit the church's Women Mission projects.

Hagood Avenue Baptist Church will have the 16th annual Living Christmas Tree presented on Dec. 7, 8 and 9 at 7 p.m. each night. It's a 40-foot tree filled with about 60 singers. There are all new lights and drama this year. No ticket is needed. Seating (400 per night) is on a first come, first served basis.

August Jewish Community Center (898 Weinberger Way, Evans, Ga.) will have its annual Community Chanukah Latke and Salmon Dinner Sunday, Dec. 9, at 6 p.m. Please RSVP to (706) 228-3636 by Dec. 4.

Simpson United Methodist Church (800 Flat St. East, Allendale) will have its annual Hanging of the Greens Sunday, Dec. 9, at 6 p.m.

Faith Ministry of Denmark will host its family Christmas concert Sunday, Dec. 9 at 10 a.m.

Sunshine Baptist Church will hold a candlelight communion service Sunday dec. 9 at 5 p.m. Will be celebrating the birth of Jesus thru a program and song.

Bethlehem Gospel Choir will have its annual choir program Sunday, Dec. 9, at 2:30 p.m.

Sweetwater Baptist Church will have a Pre-Christmas Program Sunday, Dec. 16, at 10 a.m.

The Culinary Arts Department of Greater Faith Ministries (179 Calhoun St., Barnwell) will host a "Feed the Hungry" day Wednesday, Dec. 19, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Anyone interested in enjoying a delicious hot meal (free) and some fellowship is invited to attend.

Angel Wings Food Bank (Calhoun Street) will have a "Food Giveaway" Wednesday, Dec. 22, from 9 a.m. until noon. Anyone in the community and surrounding areas in need of food is welcome to come. All first time applicants must have a valid photo ID and proof of residence (utility bill). Call (803) 259-0405 for more information.

New Home Missionary Baptist Church (Barnwell) will hold its annual Christmas program Sunday, Dec. 23, at 10 a.m. The speaker will be Pastor Harris T. Barker.

St. James Anglican Church (150 Pascallas St., Blackville) will celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ with A Festival of Lessons and Carols at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 24. All are invited to come and worship with us and celebrate the birth of Jesus.
