The Barnwell County Arts Council has a new home at the Barnwell County Museum.
BCAC Director Dana Bell said she's "grateful and delighted" about their new home.
"Partnerships such as this are what build strength among organizations within a community," she said. "Both the Barnwell County Arts Council and the Barnwell County Museum are looking forward to a wonderful 2013 filled with numerous programs and outreaches for the residents of Barnwell County and the surrounding area."
One of those programs is the BCAC's annual membership drive fundraiser.
The Marvelous Wonderettes will perform during the Feb. 5 event starting at 7 p.m. in the Barnwell Primary School auditorium. "It's going to be a great show," said Bell of the comedy musical featuring music from the 50s and 60s.
Tickets are on sale for $10 at Evelyn's Jewelry in Barnwell, Willie's Hardware in Blackville, Rivers Pharmacy in Williston, Brooker's Hardware in Denmark and the Salkehatchie Arts Council in Allendale. They will also be available at the door.
The BCAC is also looking for members, which helps fund various programs and projects, such as murals in area schools.
There are a variety of levels at which residents can become members.
