Funeral Services for Susie Mae Croft Hutson, 73, of Barnwell, were held at 11 a.m., Jan. 22, at Healing Springs Baptist Church with burial in the Barnwell Memorial Park Cemetery by the airport. The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Folk Funeral Home in Williston.
Mrs. Hutson passed away Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013.
Born in Barnwell County she was the daughter of the late Edward Judson Croft and Mary Ellen Argo Croft. She was a homemaker and was married to the late Verne Hutson. She formerly worked for Shuron Optical and Milliken Corporation and was a member of Healing Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Susan Darlene (Ray) Renew; sons, Terry Laverne (Rhonda) Hutson, Todd Willis (Kristie) Hutson and Charles Edward (Angie) Hutson; grandchildren, Tasha, Jamie, Justin, Megan, T.J., Geni, Whitley, Nathan, Christina, Chandler, Cody, Megan, Ray, Brent, Chase; great-grandchildren, Matthan, Annabeth, Sarah, Hayes, Ruthie, Josie, Hutson, Gavin, Kendall; one brother, Bobby (Barbara) Croft; special nieces, Mildred, Wanda; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Summer Hutson; four sisters, Louise Fogle, Beatrice Williams, Melba Croft, and Julia Ethel Croft; and three brothers, John Wesley Croft, Everette Croft and E.J. Croft.
Folk Funeral Home Inc. and Crematory was in charge of arrangements.
