Dogs hungry and on the loose

Dear Editor,

I'm writing this letter in hopes I can enlighten you.
I see a parade of dogs in my yard everyday looking for food. Most don't look underfed, but they go straight to the food I put out for the feral cats. I know the SPCA says you only have to feed a dog once a day. Isn't it amazing that only one of God's creatures needs to eat once a day, the dog? Look around you and watch all the other animals. The squirrels, birds, cows, goats, etc. eat at intervals all day long, including you.
So please feed your dogs at least twice a day to give them a quality life and keep them home. Then their roaming and getting into neighbor's garbage and raiding other animal's food, because they are hungry, will stop.
