Memoirs of an Intellect is an anthology of experiences translated in the form of poetry. The topics range from the general frustrations of life to the highs and lows of relationships. The work is honest and authentic and has a tendency to resonate with most readers on various levels. The poems cover issues such as abuse, heartache, gratitude and denial. The compilation hits home for readers as there is something to relate to for anyone who examines it and can appreciate the act of self-discovery through the art of writing.
Tynisha Sanders is the daughter of Willie and Willieruth Walker (Barnwell) and Virginia and Daniel Walker (Bamberg). She attended Barnwell High School for a short period of time before graduating from Bamberg-Ehrhardt High School in 1996. She attended Francis Marion University in Florence where her passion for writing led her to major in English. Since the age of eleven, she began writing poetry as a means of self-expression. She's always enjoyed reading a wide variety of material ranging from the local newspapers to autobiographies and is known for her assorted collection of books. Over the years she has written numerous articles for online publication, won several writing contests and uses her poetry to make her own personalized greeting cards. Tynisha is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. and she resides in Atlanta, Georgia with her fiancé.
