Frank Lavern Bodiford

Frank Lavern Bodiford, 66, of Williston, died Jan. 22, 2009 at his residence.
Memorial service was held Jan. 25 at the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, with the Revs. Bert Baynham and Gene Carroll officiating. Burial was in the Long Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. Folk Funeral Home of Williston was in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Bodiford was born in Barnwell County. He was the son of the late Horry and Juanita Carroll Bodiford. He was owner/operator of Bodiford's Backhoe Service, a member of Long Branch Baptist Church and was a US Navy veteran. He was predeceased by a son, William A. (Billy) Williams and a sister Shirley Ann Hutto.
Survivors include his wife, Faye Whaley Bodiford of the home; three daughters, Sheila W. (Allan) Palmer, Melinda B. (Ruben) Hernandez and Gail Warner, all of Williston; two sons, Frank Lewis Bodiford of Williston and Kenneth Gary (Lisa) Williams of Windsor; two brothers, Floyd (Johnnie) Bodiford of Denmark and Jimmy B. (Lisa) Bodiford of Williston; a special first cousin, Jimmy I. (Peggy) Bodiford; one daughter-in-law, Karen Williams; one brother-in-law, Bobby Hutto; twelve grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
