Gloria Jean Mattison Landis
Funeral service was held Feb. 12 at Williston First Baptist Church with burial in The Williston Cemetery. Folk Funeral Home of Williston was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Landis was born in Honea Path. She was the daughter of Ina Mae Kanning Mattison and the late Eugene Mattison. She retired from Dixie Narco having worked in first aid and the benefits department. She was a member of Winfield Heights Baptist Church where she taught in the children's department, GA's and was a member of the WMU. She formerly worked as an EMT for the Williston Rescue Squad. She was predeceased by a brother, Calvin Mattison.
Survivors include her husband, William Thomas "Tommy" Landis of the home; two daughters, Rhonda (Ken) Bolen and Pam (Jamie) Fields, all of Williston; her mother, of Honea Path; three sisters, Edna Fleming, Wanda Motes and Elaine Ashley, all of Honea Path; three brothers, Jerry Mattison, Larry Joe Mattison and Jimmy Mattison, all of Honea Path; sister-in-law, Peggy (Chick) Williamson of North Augusta; three grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
