She was born Pearlene Mingo, to the late John Wesley Mingo and Annie Folk Mingo, on January 1, 1941 in Colleton County. She departed this earthly life on May 19, 2017 at the Colleton Regional Medical Center in Walterboro. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Joshua.

She united herself with the Rizer Chapel United Methodist Church at an early age and worshipped there until a decline in her health. She served as an usher for several years. On September 27, 1963 she was united in Holy Matrimony to Harold Mole Jr. and to this union two sons were born.

During her early life, she worked as a seamstress for different manufacturing companies in the Allendale area. Pearl was a very strong willed individual, who did things her way.
