Carolyn P. Hall - Springfield
Funeral services for Carolyn Poole Hall, 95, of Springfield, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at the First Baptist Church of Springfield with the Reverends Henry Cooper and Jared Pemper officiating. Burial will follow in The Salley Oakview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Folk Funeral Home, Williston. The family has asked that memorials be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 368, Springfield, S.C. 29146.
Carolyn passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Saturday, July 15, 2017.
Born in Salley, Carolyn was a daughter of the late William T. and Mary Williamson Poole and was married to the late Cornelius Justice Hall. Carolyn was a member of the First Baptist Church of Springfield where she taught Sunday school and served in numerous other capacities. She enjoyed going to the senior center, playing cards, reading, Bingo and loved to spend time with all of her grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughters, Kella Jane H. Dietz, Jeanette H. (Rodney) Whittle, and Deborah H. (Gene) Adams, all of Springfield; sons, William C. “Bill” (Cathy) Hall of Columbia, Keith D. (Debbie) Hall of Williston and Dwayne Hall (Tanja Bolt) of Aiken; grandchildren, Ryan (Kim) Hall, Sheree (Coleman) Fravel, Nathanael (Kellie) Hall, Corey Hall, Blair Dietz, Melissa (Timbo) Williams, Brad (Cheryl) Whittle, Lauren (Maj. David) Dice, Jonathan (Jessica) Hall, Kamryn Hall, Chad (Elizabeth) Adams, Matthew Adams, Brandon Hall, Amber (Todd) Blume and Caufman Hall; great-grandchildren, Sammy, Braydon, Leighton, Kennedy, Cara, Kailyn, Madisyn, Gracyn, Parker, Graham, Cooper, Carstan, Tucker, Chloe, Caeden, Cameron, Braelyn, Landon, Kerrigan and Connor; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Valerie Kennerly, Virginia Spell, Louise Dodenhoff, Rebecca Bonnette and Sarah Poole; brothers, Watson, Horace and Richard Poole.
