Freddie Morell III - Allendale
Mr. Freddie Morrell III, age 51, was born on July 23, 1965 to the late Thelma Charlton Morell and the late Freddie Morell II.
At an early age, seeking God’s direction and guidance, he joined Faith Temple Church of God in Christ in Gifford where he served as a member.
Freddie received his education in the public school system of Allendale.
He worked as a truck driver for Little Red Logging Company of Allendale and Helena Chemical Company of Fairfax.
Freddie was a loving and kind person, and will be remembered for the love he had for his family and friends.
Besides his parents and grandparents, he is preceded in death by two aunts and six uncles.
Our Heavenly Father saw fit to call him from labor to reward on July 13, 2017 at the Pruitt Health Center in Estill.
He leaves to cherish his memory: one daughter, Shaquana (Robbie) Cue of Aiken; two sons, Fredis (Kendra) McKnight of Beaufort and Traven McKnight of Allendale; six grandchildren, Kamryn, Calleigh, and Kinsley Cue of Aiken, and Patience, Essence, and Nyla McKnight of Beaufort; two sisters, Thelma M. Morell and Lucille (Rickey) Brant of Allendale; four stepsisters, Teresa Hartzog and Loretta Hartzog of Allendale, and Rosa Hartzog and Melissa Hartzog of Barnwell; two brothers, Lavell Morell and Willie J. Morell of Allendale; mother-in-law, Carrie L. McKnight of Fairfax; one brother-in-law, Anderson (Hester) McKnight of Fairfax; four sisters-in-law, Patricia, Dorothy, Shirley and Ann McKnight, all of Fairfax; maternal grandmother, Mary J. Green of Brooklyn, N.Y.; godparents, Elder Earl (Johnnie M.) Morell of Allendale; 14 aunts, Susie Morell, Queen E. Dukes, Ann Bradley and Marie Harden of Allendale, Evangelist Eva Mae Brabham of Titusville, Fla., Claretha Hartzog of Barnwell, Elizabeth Gibb, Elouise, Carolyn, Barbara, Sandra, Mary Ann Green, Hazel (John) Holiday, and Nita (Calvin) Belton, all of Brooklyn, N.Y.; five uncles, Ronald Green of Tiverton, RI, Marion Green of Killen, Texas, Raymond Green of Newark, N.J., Daryl Mitchell of Atlanta, Ga., and Abraham Youmans of Columbia; 17 special cousins, Earline, Shirley, Lewis, Ike, Teresa, Teron, Johnny, Timothy, Richard, Patricia, Bishop Earl Jr., Elder Leon, Betty, Bobbie, Mathlene, Abraham, and Pernell, all of Allendale; special friend, Ronnie Devoe of Allendale; and a host of cousins, other relatives and sympathizing friends.
The visitation was held Thursday, July 20, 2017, at the B. F. Cave Funeral Chapel in Allendale from 3-8 p.m.
The funeral service was Friday, July 21, 2017 at 2 p.m. at New Life House of Love in Allendale with words of comfort by Bishop Earl Morell Jr. The burial followed in the St. Mark Baptist Church Cemetery in Allendale.
The family also received friends at the home located at 910 Ashe Road in Allendale.
B.F. Cave Funeral Home in Allendale was in charge of arrangements.
