Louise B. Glee (Barnwell)
Mrs. Louise Bradley Glee, aka “Weezie”, age 64, was born on October 14, 1952, in Allendale to the late John Henry Bradley Sr. and the late Martha Boynton.
Seeking God’s direction and guidance, she joined the Rosemary Baptist Church in Barnwell where she served as a faithful and dedicated Usher for 13 years.
She received her education at the McHill High School and furthered her education at Denmark Tech in Denmark where she studied and received a certificate in Culinary Arts. Louise worked as a Lacer at Allied Air in Blackville, in Production at Dixie Narco in Williston, and as a Shift Manager at Pizza Hut in Barnwell for many years before retiring.
“Weezie”, as she was affectionately known, will be remembered for the love she had for her family and friends, and she will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
She was married to the late Robert Lee Glee Sr. for over 40 years, and in this union they were blessed with four children.
Besides her husband, parents and grandparents, she is preceded in death by one son, Robert L. Glee Jr.; one brother, Douise Bradley; one sister, Annie Bell Sanders; and one brother-in-law, Swindell McAllister.
Our Heavenly Father called her from labor to reward on October 5, 2017, at the Allendale County Hospital in Fairfax.
She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory: two daughters, Vanessa Glee (Nathaniel) Cunningham of Martin and Evangelist Roberta Glee of Jersey City, N.J.; one son, Capal L. Glee of Killeen, Texas; twenty-three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Deacon William Bradley and John H. Bradley Jr., of Barnwell; one sister, Doris Graves of Philadelphia, Pa.; two sisters-in-law, Sandra Cutliff and Delores McCray of West Palm Beach, Fla.; one brother-in-law, Willie Dean Sanders Sr., of Barnwell; special and devoted friend, Henry Jackson of Barnwell; two longtime friends, Gwendolyn Jackson of Statesboro, Ga. and Catherine Tilley of Barnwell; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and sympathizing friends.
A Celebration of Life Service was held on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Rosemary Baptist Church in Barnwell with words of comfort provided by her daughter, Evangelist Roberta Glee. Burial followed at the Rosemary Baptist Church Cemetery in Barnwell.
B.F. Cave Funeral Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.
